Ishmail Yadullah was born and raised in Homestead, Florida, and homeschooled until college. From an early age, he’s drawn to entertainment and storytelling, inspired by the shows he watched and the music that shaped his imagination.

 

At 18, Ishmail Yadullah began writing seriously, channeling a lifelong love of creativity into words. Storytelling has always been central to his life — first through music, and now through his original series, The Cush. It’s the natural evolution of a passion that’s been there from the start: turning real experiences and vivid imagination into stories that connect.
